shadows froth and swell, rolling high above.
tossed a lonely soul an age apart from she.
waking curtain falls, a drab grey upon mine eye.
onward with half a step with half a heart,
a tug inside, so constant
apart from me, apart are we.
Sleep a while, i see her dream.
beauteous in the darkness still, beauty unmatched,
even in spite now of waking frown, there fixed,
a sadness washing ashore, my warrant my charge.
she my light, whose smile an angels shamed,
strive now must I her man, to be to stand.
foretold no truth, no straight path to yomp.
Down and up, under, between,
teeth gritted over knife blade,
rage balled up swallowed down,
held deep springloaded, white hot
don't touch don't take, do not offend.
stays my wrath my hideousness.
lasted time now together anew, now all change
And with me she is my smile
and she alone.
